Just a quicky as I know some of you have been looking for cheap sky lanterns. Found some the other day, identical to the ones on bay of e at a fraction of the price. Will post the name of the shop and link on my wall xxx

we actually purchased one of these on saturday for 99p, thought we would let it go on the night to see how it was then go back and buy loads if any good. it was fantastic, we headed off to the shop and brought a stack of them Bargain!!!!! not sure if the shop is a chain or what but it was from a place in norfolk if i can find a link i will post it on my wall

i have just put a link on my wall the website isnt an online store but does show you their locations so if anyone has the said shop nearby can pop along and have a wee look. they had them in several colours, white, red, pink, yellow and blue i want some purple ones too but cant find them!
Going to have a nosey at your link, glad I didn't buy any now, just hope they've got a shop near us!! xxx

looks like i might have some going spare!!!!! the venue we are looking to book doesnt allow them as they are 2 miles from the airport! damn!!!! we thought about setting them off at the engagement party but this is less than a mile from airport so wont be allowed either. cant even do it at our house with close family and friends as we are on the flight path!!!!!!!!!!!! damn lol

Vikkims i was going to say make sure your venue allows them as some dont (wildlife etc) but then i read through the rest of the posts and saw your last one :-( sorry babe, sell them on ebay get your money back at least!

I've found a couple of websites selling these; best price was 10 for £7.49.
I think they look beautiful, but share the concerns about wildlife etc. I'll have to make sure I get wire-free ones.

i love the idea of sky lanterns but again my venue wont allow it :-( so. . . .im now thinking of having a bubble machine on during the first dance lol cheesy but very me xxx

We got 10 of these from a cash and carry for £6. they are fab we got the ones that arent wire its like cardboard strws or something (dont know how to explain it lol) xx

Sky lanterns are great we let them off all the time the kids love them, you can get for for less than a quid a time, we often lte 2 or 3 off at once, and see where they end up.
