Anyone got any good tips on skin problems. I don't have the best of skin anyway, and being 40 it's looking a tad tired!! LOL! Anyway, all the time, every month I suffer with acne just before I am due on, and nearly always get a massive spot either by my nose or on my chin. The past few months this has been a real issue, at first I thought it was down to stress when I had placement and exams coming up etc etc but even after the exams I still get them.

The thing is, until a few months ago, I was actually due on the day after the wedding, however, by having an earlier cycle one months changed that so it would have been out the way by the time the wedding came. Now though, due to being a day late, I will be in the middle of it on the wedding day so chances are I am going to look like I have a pizza slapped on my face.

Any ideas on improving the skin?

i have exactly the same issues, I have been given quiniderm which you get from behind the counter at the pharmasists which has drastically improved the spot problem -only when i used 3 times a day. you could always treat yourself to a skin assessment in a department store too or ask the person doing your makeup for good coverup

ive got really bad skin and it has been since changing my contraception 7 months ago. I get bad skin about 2 weeks before im due and when they start to fade im then getting them again! i always seem to have bad skin! lol ive recently bought some products from avon called clear skin professional i think and its a 3 step method, a cleansing scrub, toner pads and a spot fighting lotion and all for £9, ive been using it a couple of days now, and my skin def feels softer, although im still getting lots of spots, but im hoping its just clearing out my skin and it will calm down after a while so i will let you know if it works! x

I have been to the doctor about my skin and he has given me an antibiotic roll on. It is amazing and has completely cleared up my spots x
