    Morning ladies!

Is anyone on here from or lives near to or even been to Skegness?

My mum and MOH are arranging the hen night and have decided that's where we're going but i just wondered what clubs they have there. I thought they had a 70's or 80's club (cheesy disco dancing is what the girls want lol!) but i've looked at websites for Skegness nightlife and there doesn't seem to be a lot.

Is it any good? :0) Thanks.xx

    Can't wait to be married!

It is a mini version of Blackpool, it is just as good, I only live about 50-60 miles from there and go most weekends in the summer, I also have friends that live there.
It depends on what you make it. It can be much like Blackpool. Or as a few have dubbed it Skeg Vegas. LOL!! xx

LOL!! Yeah Ingoldmells is right next to Skegness, you can get buses to and from. Ingoldmells is basically the bit where Butlins is. You can't miss it, either, you can see the RollerCoasters from miles away. xx

Ingoldmells is livelier than Skegness - as Skegness is quite small but with quite a few pubs but does tend to shut down earlier (you find the older generation holiday in Skegness whereas the younger generation go to Ingoldmellls).

I've spent loads of holidays at both and love it there. But I do think Ingoldmells is probably bettter for the nightlife - but there are more Hotels in Skegness as oppposed to campsites and caravan parks in Ingoldmells. I suppose it depends where you're staying, but they're both only a taxi ride from each other anyway.

The inside pub, at Fantasy Island is great, it's a bit of a family/entertainment bar, not sure what it's like at night though. xx

Thanks ladies. It's 9 months away yet but the hotels & B&Bs seem to be getting booked up already so thought best to get something booked. :0)

The fantasy island does tend to be a family bar - but turns more 'adult' later on. And it's open til the early hours. There are a couple of clubs round there as well but all that's in Ingoldmells not Skegness.

Skegness is better for the Hotels to stay in...But Ingoldmells is a lot better for the entertainment, I think. xx

I always stay in Ingoldmells in a Caravan for the holiday, I'm thinking of going to Butlins for the Weekend for my Hen do, cos they have some good entertainment and there close to Fantasy Island for the inside Bar. xx

I've never actually been too Butlins, so will be quite looking forward to it. My mum has been and absolutely loved it. That was for a Hen Weekend. xx

I've been with my son when he was younger. During the day it seemed to be more for kids and families but the bars are open late and they have a club for when the kids are out of the way lol. I didn't get there because I was with my son but it seemed to be busy.

I went for a girly weekend for a 30th birthday to Butlins a few months ago, it was fantastic, perfect for a hen do! We went on a 70s/80s weekend and it was mainly full of big groups, mostly in fancy dress!
