For our wedding we got a local gig guide so we could go check them out etc...it works out cheaper as bands that exclusively do weddings tend to be lot more expensive and less flexible. Are there any pubs or clubs that host ska nights? If so, go along and have a look.

Sort of a cross between punk and reggae, often with brass instruments....think madness, the specials, bad company etc

Great for dancing too!
