Dont know which is better...obviously looking at loads for a sitdown meal but was looking at a Jamaican BBQ? Its only £18ph and the more guests you have the price decreases... Stuck! lol
CommentAuthoriluvcakes
I'd go for a bbq everytime! It's less formal, guests can mingle and the price tends to be so much cheaper per head x

BBQ, I'm having a finger buffet xx
CommentAuthorCupcakeBride-tobe
I agree, was looking for a nice sit down meal and its roughly coming out at about £40ph... MrsL2Be that sounds nice, is that like sandiwches and stuff? xx

If you're going for the farm thing that you were on about the other day, I'd def go with the BBQ :)
It depends what feel you want from your day really....if you do decide on the farm idea, like kirstyless says above - then defo the BBQ hun. xx
CommentAuthorMrs Badger
I'm having a BBQ. Really depends on what kind of feel you want your day to have, we wanted something relaxed and outside so a BBQ suited us perfectly. xx

BBQ sounds like a good idea. We're having a formal sit down meal, which will be nice but saw the venue advertsiing BBQ after we'd booked and if I had the option, prob would have gone for that! Everyone loves a BBQ! (As long as the veggies have something to keep them happy! lol) x

Aww bless that would be really nice :) we arent sure about budgeting or anything and Id really like to make my own invites - its lovely down here, youll have a lovely time xx
CommentAuthorkirstyless
We made our own invites :) took alot of effort and concentration, but it was worth it! We had a spreadsheet for our budget, I think its ended up costing us around 14k...but 5600 was for food, drinks and venue. If you want any recommendations or anything, just let me know :) x

Definitely go with the BBQ, it goes well with where you may have your reception. Have you decided whether you are going to have the farm? xx
