They arrived, one is a size 7 (my size) and the other a 6. I tried getting in touch, tried calling... nothing! Anyway i've had to open a case, she finally got back to me when the bay contacted her!
I just couldn't believe it. She said oh well... just throw them in the bin!! WTF! This was a wedding shop selling them too so she obviously knew that they were different sizes and tried to get one over on the poor individual - ME!
Got money back eventually but still reeling and it's really thrown me off buying anything else. Has anyone else had an experience similar? Just thought it might be nice to vent together haha! xx

oooo how frustrating!! eBay can either be your best friend or worst enemy.
I sell a lot on ebay and I once sold a fancy dress costume and took photos the day I put the costume online - anyway the woman that bought it then raised a case against me saying the costume had fake tan and make up marks all over it (which it didn't)
Luckily the photos were date stamped so I could prove it wasn't sent that way but some people are horrible on there like some are on most internet sites I guess!

I've heard of things like that happening a lot, even in shoe shops on the high street! Although I had a bad time on the bay when I wanted to buy a statuette and after 3 or 4 weeks of not hearing a thing I did manage to get my money back only because P.Pal put a case through.
Don't get too disheartened by it, you're going to run into things during the wedding planning that you don't like but don't let it deter you.

Thats really bad. Iv only had 3 bad item off bay but thats out of about appox 40+ items. Nearly all my wedding stuff is off there. My guest book came with pen marks and up side down pages lol but she did send me a new one. I once ordered 20 magic beans(its a seed with a message on it and when you plant it the message stays on the leaf) what should of been mixed messages like thank you love you etc all came with merry christmas on. Would of been good if i was having a xmas wedding. They were only 99p so i didnt send them back. I also ordered the socks with fog on them. I had already brought all other 9 pairs for 19p each in a warehouse sale. I just needed fog, I paid £2. 75 for the one pair and they are rubbish you cant really read it and the quality is real poor. Everything else has been fine, Got some really good bargains, My b/maids tiaras were £2 ish each and there jewellery was £2 each.

just ha a similar experience. my daughter who just turned 11 walked a dog everyday through the summer holidays when her mates were at the beach to earn money to buy a phone as i said i wouldnt pay for one as i didnt think she was old enough and she would have to prove herself to be responsible as there are ongoing costs i.e top up! well she did me proud and continues too she found the phone she wanted on ebay bid and won she was soooo excited then it didnt come i messaged the lady no response and then ebay opened a case and still absolutely nothing. i know i will get the money back for her but its so cruel dont know how people can do it! i have since found her the same phone for similar money just hope it comes now!
One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

I had a experience with a book, ordered a fiction novel and got sent a cookbook....think some sellers think they can get away with just sending anything without realising the bit as described button is there

Had quite a few not turn up but then my postman has a tendency to just put mine next to the bin if they don't need a signature so some cheeky bugger could have nicked a few that I've had to open not received cases about

That's awful for her to say that, especially if she had not intention at the time of giving you a refund. Glad you got your money back though.
Don't let it put you off though, not everyone is like that.
