Can u not politely ask her not to have that colour just for the wedding.. she can dye it the day after??

Personally, I wouldn't insist on her dying her hair or wearing a wig. It could look really funky.

tbh i dont think you can say she cant have her hair a certain colour. just my opinion though x

If that's the colour she always has then personally i think its a bit rude to ask her to change for your wedding, after all its who she is like your MIL2B says.
But if its a new recent thing then yeah by all means ask her to either tone it down for the wedding so its not so bright or get one of those big fasnator's for her that will cover all of her hair lol

I don't think it'll look awful at all. I think people get a little too hung up on colour clashes sometimes.

In that case see what it looks like with your colours when you all go dress shopping!

I was a little bit disappointed when my bridesmaids, who usually have weird and wild hair colours, both decided to dye their hair black before the wedding.

I can just imagine my future father in law trying to get our photographer to do something like that!

yes kelly am liek that not bothered about thte colours just dont want her to look back on them lol but she can decide wen she tries the dress on i guess x

My sister has a huge bright green streak in her hair she looks like a mint aero LOL and my theme is black and red she simply said to me nothing will make her change it and its tough luck if i didnt like it!

TBF i dont really mind as long as she doesnt change it for orange or pink lol!

My mom (who will have to have her camera surgically removed from her hand) will most likely try and 'edit' things out but i wont have them pic in my albums i want them natural even with green hair and all the piercings me h2b and sister have between us HAHA!

Some people like funky colours and will never change it for anything! Yes I understand you dont want her to clash but it isnt fair to expect her to change the colours as it can work out an expensive game! The only other option is to offer to pay for her to have it changed for the day and then pay to have it red again afterwards!

I have similar issue with my BM. She's got really short (less than inch) hair and it's either been a lovely deep red or dark brown since I've known her (+10yrs) and a couple of months ago she went platinum blonde!
She loves it. I hate it. But it's her hair, and I wouldn't ask her to change it for the wedding and I wouldn't expect anyone to ask me to change mine if I were in the same position.

we all have red hair at the mo so im upset with my sis who wants to go blonde or purple. I have said i cant do much about the blonde though it would look better if we were the same, esp given their dresses and our colour theme. However, if she goes purple for as she said 'a laugh' she will be out of the wedding party. Still not sure what she will do but at least she knows where she stands. I dont think she will go purple now but i think she is going blonde whcih will not suit her... hopefully she will be back to red by next aug
