ok so it was my hen do on saturday night out in nottingham and although im currently on crutches i was not about to let that spoil the weekend!! i had a fab time and i think the crutches actually made it a better night for me.

...So i come home, see chris and instantly know somethings happened.

he'd been out at his mates as i wasnt home, and had too much to drink so was in a state.. i was a bit miffed to come home to him in a worse state than me but it didnt matter that much. then he told me that he's been in a big fight with his mates, they had rung the police and our other friend went to pick him up at 4 in the morning as chris had rung him up in tears!! Now these mates we dont see often but he has known them since school, his best friend rowan who was meant to be doing the video for our wedding as thats his profession on the side had told his girlfriend sophie that chris was gay, had been with a man before and didnt know what i was really about, therefore sophie didnt want anything to do with chris (hence her never coming to meet us for a drink) so understandably this got chris a bit wound up. Phill (the other friend) continued to wind him up until chris got so mad then through him out the house into the road for abusing him. cut all of chris' arms and hands up when he landed coz he had a glass in his hand. when chris tried to get back in the house.. although the method he used was banging and kicking the door (not a great idea) sophie then went to call the police, so chris sat in the street behind to cars to calm down and thats when he rung our friend. Rowan then text chris to threaten him some more.
Now im not a massive fan of these friends at the best of times, but i also know chris can go too far when drunk i am mad at him but also kind of understand why he reacted and i know phil would have wound him up to the endge on purpose.
So now we've lost our videographer and 4 places at our tables on the wedding day.
why has all this happened now!?!?!?

yeh i dont really want them there now even if they do all make up. chris is a bit of a wreck atm so my focus is him. im glad hes ok and he has his stag do this weekend to cheer him up a bit. just dont get how "friends" can be like that. I was mad about video at first but i think if we havea few ppl videoin different things and times the video will be quite fun

These friend that he was with they are not going one the stag do are they?? I hope everything works out and that you find someone else to videgrapgh the wedding.. Sound like a bit of a mess but at least you looking at it positively.. Good Luck

Gawd, blooming men... Why on earth would his best friend say those things about him ? and to also make that comment about you is bang out of order. Hope that there are no further repercussions with the police. Sorry that you have lost the videographer but you don't need friends like this.

yeh thats kind of how im feeling to be honest. Rowan was meant to be going on the stag do this weekend but we dont know whats happening, i think chris is going to try and speak to him tomrrow but is worried that he wont answer, i just said then the ball is in his court and its down to him, just waiting for him to demand all the money back but to be honest id rather just give him it and that be the end of it all.
feel quite sorry for chris tbh.
