hi all this is my engagement ring we have been engaged for many years and my original enagement ring got caught on a door and broke (due to me loosing weight got too big!!) so my OH brought me a new one last year and I love it!! only challenge will be to get a wedding band to fit it think ill need custom made one :) xx

I can't post a pic to the wall but my engagement ring is in my photo albums. I love it and always wanted a diamond and sapphire ring - Kate Middleton just got there first! It's technically two rings but OH wanted me to wear the set as my engagement ring and then the plan is to get an identical wedding band for the other side, so it completes the set!

Thanks Emily! There's a thin diamond band in front of the cluster which is the second ring - the plan is to get an identical one and put it on the other side (nearest to my knuckle) so that it makes a thicker band when worn altogether. I don't have the daintiest of hands so the thicker the band the better!!

Hi Liz, did you buy the band at the same time? And did you get it made to fit? I have a similar ring and not ex to get by wedding ring now but custom made prices seem silly.

That's a beautiful ring Hannah!

Steph, it was a bridal set so both bought at the same time, it was perfect size as it was and the engagement ring is a wedding fit so the wedding bands fit snugly underneath.

Oh I love looking at everyones rings - as I was the one to propose I am still waiting on my ring. I've chosen a selection I like (I'm having an Emerald), but waiting for OH to "surprise" me with the one he has chosen (his version of a proposal suppose).

The diamond in it is fantastic, the cut on it means even when it is filthy (as it is on the photo) it sparkles amazingly! Its E colour and vvs1 clarity! I love it
The metal is platinum as white gold was deemed to fragile for what I put it through!

We have now got our wedding rings, they were in the shop yesterday from ordering them on Saturday.

OH has 9ct white gold, 2 tone brushed and polished, 7mm band.
