hehe same! originally i had my heart set on this pink sapphire and diamond cluster ring. then the more i thought about it i decided i didn't want a pink one anymore and wanted a princess cut solitaire ring. as you can see from the pic i ended up choosing a round cut ring with diamond shoulders. not what i expected to choose at all! and we too weren't even looking, was just in town generally browsing and i was like ooooooomg thats so pretty so we ordered it there and then xD my h2b never got down on one knee tho! it was more "i wana get married" "yeh me too" "cool, lets do it then." so romantic LOL.

awww georgi at least it turned out for the best lol. h2b wenyt and asked my dad for his blessing for him to propose. neither of them will tell me what was said :( but i love that he respected my dad enough to let him know he planned on asking me to be his wife. also really glad he let me go ring shopping with him cause when i seen the rings he liked it would have been going back anyway lol xx

Love everybodys ring cannot wait for my engagement to be remade and to finally wear my ring again upload pictures of the ring before when it was silver and was perfect till it broke been a month without my ring but cming up 3 weeks Thrusday since the ol ring was taken away to be remade a complete new band said it may take up to 4 weeks or even 6 but if it is 6 weeks I am almost half way their till I get my =D ♥ X

Mine are both Platinum & OH's is Palladium, custom made to match my wedding band. The diagonal line was made the same angle so it matched, his choice!

My Engagement Ring means a lot to me as it was my Mothers, & one day i will pass it along to my daughter.
It's a Yellow Gold band with a White Gold head, with a black Sapphire middle surrounded by 12 deep set Diamonds. I wouldn't of been happy if my bloke had just gone out and bought one, i think it's lovely he knows i like things with meaning and memories, so for him to speak to my mum and get this shows just how much he understands and knows me <3 For some reason it's not uploading my picture so will try again later :(

Yeah I can upload my ring now :) It is a 9ct Gold ring with sapphire and diamonds; it was styled on Lady Diana's ring; now Kate's :)
