I was on sm00ch website & they have lots of different rings to choice from, loads of lovely ones. I also looked at the 'news & events' bit and they are to be in Belfast at a wedding fair I'm going to at the end of February so I'm definitely going to make a point of seeing their stand :) roll on feb!! haha Love wedding fairs, think I could be a bridezilla alright lol

Do they do only brand new rings because im stange and like older rings Although i might have a look because i cant be too fussy if i want it to fit properly x

Xmellymex - where are you based? If you wanted an antique-type you could may be look in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham or Hatton Garden in London.
I had a real job getting a wedding ring in the right shape for my e-ring, so had it custom made in the end, but you may strike it lucky with an antique one, you never know!

I would strongly suggest trying to get to either the jewellery quarter in Birmingham or Hatton Garden in London if you want something custom made. You will get much better value for money than elsewhere (online or the companies that come to your house), and will get much more say in the design eg you can specify the diamonds you want.

We had the 'kissing company' come round and found that their prices were very high, and I didn't like the fact that we were dealing with a salesperson, and not the person who would actually be making the rings (as I need a very specific, custom-made ring). I have been quoted about 40% less by a firm in Hatton Garden, and am planning on having them re-make my engagement ring as well as make my wedding band.

High-street jewellers are also often over-priced. So if you can get to an independent one, I would recommend it.

H2B and I are willing to spend as much money as we have too to get my perfect wedding ring and heard good news about Smooch so think we shall be sticking to smooch rings and they give you free refitting and polishing for life etc excellent customer care =D <3 X

I did go to the jewellery quarter and did get some other quotes Its just that I want to get my ring the same place H2B get his ring I just want the perfect ring plus I was offered quotes at the same price as smooch rings so they are not crazily expensive Barbie86 thank you for your concerns

I love looking at all the rings, they're all so gorgeous :) I'm undecided wether to get a plain wedding hand or one with diamonds. I already have a half eternity ring which I plan to wear with e.ring & w.ring so think w.ring might look better plain. Will have to try them altogether when I'm ring shopping.

This is my engagement ring, sapphire and diamond. We're hoping to be able to use my great grandmother's wedding ring for my ring at least, but it was converted into a man's signet ring, so needs to be changed.

Cathryn - we weren't looking to buy mine when we did, I was just messing around in the window going oooo ahhhh lol.. But mine caught my eye and I fell in love.. Like you it was nothing like I'd ever imagined I'd want, but I knew from then that that was the one I wanted :-) H2B took me back there 2 months later to buy it (it was also on sale and I would never have let him buy it if it wasn't !) but they had to send it off to have the band resized (due back in 5 months) 1 month later he got down on one knee :') xxx
