We made this using a napkin and heatgun.

Not exactly home made but instead of buying personalised glasses for £10-£15 each I bought single champagne glasses for 50p each and got some self adhesive decal stickers and made them myself all these for £6 total!

currently still making theses. They're going in the flower girl baskets instead of petals and will probably reuse them for the reception table decorations

Ooh I think I may have to invest in some of those self adhesive letters! Where did you get the glasses from? I bought a 4 pack from Te$co but I am going to need at least one more as my 'tester' glass doesn't lookthat great, this is what I have so far (I am the bridesmaid not the bride this time lol) I am happier with the silver one (Brides) and the red one is the one I did as my tester and picked out the longest BM name as I knew hers would be the most challenging. I am thinking of forgoing the names and just having them glittery. I am not 100% sold on the red either though tbh, but that might be because I have laid the glitter on too thick. Urgh problems lol

Velcro, I agree that the glitter looks a little too thick. The brides one looks fab!

Why not get name stickers and glitter over them and then peel them off. May make it easier for you?

im gunna peel the glitter off the red one and start again lol

I had letter stickers that i peeled off might give it another whirl and peel it all off while it is still wet. Letting the tape dry was my first error lol

Ok, so I peeled off the other glitter and I have just done the stem, I am not sure if I should do it up to where the silver ends on the brides one or keep it simple and just have the stem only. Or stem only and have a red glittery rim, I was thinking of matching lace, but then i changed my mind as only the bride actually has lace with her dress we don't so thought it would make that stand out even more with that. Still debating on whether to get decals or not.

Ok, so on doing the other 2 glasses and putting them all together, I think I will leave it just at the red stems, I like how they look next to the brides glass

I am still debating on decals or not as I really like Mrs Preston2b's but I don't want them looking 'too much' if I add more to them

I still need to do one more glass, which is for the brides aunty - going to do in gold, the same as the brides but without the lace trim. But I've no idea where I can pick an individual champagne glass up from :/

mod poge (its a glue, sealant and varnish in one, though I'm sure other glues can be used) and then just pour the glitter on shaking off the excess when you are done. It really is as simple as that!
