Finally found the right kind of paper for my venue decorations :)

More of these origami bows and some sort of bunting to go from bow to bow. H2B isn't keen on usual triangle bunting so I'm looking at other ideas, thinking about hearts! They're going to go around the venue and on the chairs for the ceremony on the inside of the aisle.

why not alternating shapes on the bunting, bows and hearts maybe or something else. love your little paper bows, they look brill xx

Getting on with my daughters dress.....hers is slightly different in that she has a higher neckline. the rest of the dress is still the same style. I wanted her to be a bit different as she is MOH.....

I have no Idea how to make a wish tree Sian......I am pretty useless at fiddley things.....too clumsey

The heart is lovely Sian, I was looking at these to put table settings into.....somehow....BUT I only have 4 tables and didnt need anything as big....

maybe you could use the heart as a wish tree? pop the wishes into the hearts for people to write on and put back onto it.

PS.......please dont think I am prying into your house.....but I have always wanted one of those globes on a stand!

You could use it for both. Though I think it'd be better suited for a table plan as I don't think there's enough spaces in it for people to put wishes on. Still possible though.

I made a wish tree, I just got a nice shaped branch with sprigs on...decorated a normal terracotta pot in my colours, set the branch in the pot with plaster of paris (as it then is heavy enough not to fall over) and then added glass beads to cover any of the plaster which may be visable.
May not be what you were after as its quite rustic' but thats easy peasy way of making a non fiddly wishing tree x (pics i think are in my decorations album )

I am going to make it myself will let you know how it comes out going to get your doilies monday sorry not done it yet been rushing about as you can imagine lol

we have made signs and a post pox :) i bought the box from a really AMAZING (largest rainforest in the world) place for £9. BARGAIN!!



h2b started making individual tags for the sweets, but he can't be bothered as there are so many lol trying to talk him into it. he's done well doing these. i love them :)

Made the bridesmaids ear rings, and bought necklaces and bracelets, and put them into little gold organza bags
