im DIYing loads partly to save money but mostly because im pretty creative so it gives me an excuse lol love all the creative people on here! :D will post pictures up as I go :)

We added some ribbon. I think it finished it off.

We used tissue paper to print on then you use a heat gun to fix it to the candle.

the decals finally came for the champagne glasses and I made some mini jam jar flower pot thingies, put some soil in (from the garden centre which I randomly had under the stairs lol) and biodegradable hearts with wildflower seeds in them. WHen I ordered them I thought they were much smaller (like a 1p size) but they are actually quite large, hence why they aren't flat in the mini jam jars lol. I like how they look anyway. Also part of the bride/bridesmaid kits are some large love heart lollies that I bought off amazon, and some candles I picked up from tesco. Just waiting for the personalised bags to arrive woop. Oh, I also got the biggest bottle of prosecco I have ever seen lol

Im the bridesmaid, not the bride this time lol. Putting some bags together for the bm's and bride :)

That looks lovely Stephanie, maybe some ribbon or flowers or if you have any specific decorations maybe tie some into it??

thank you :) they took ages but honestly they were't difficult at all and they cost only 10 pound to make for all 40 so that's the best part about it :)

i think that's what i might end up doing purely because i cant find one anywhere else, i may purchase a single invite from somewhere and take it apart and go from there - would that be wrong to do? x

Just black ink from a hp home printer onto a gold shimmer card. I have no idea how to emboss either! I like the look of those foiling machines but no idea how yo do those too! Sorry taken long to reply, still a newbie and when I came to reply there was no reply box, just realised it was because I wasn't logged in haha

Anyone who has made glitter glasses themselves. Is the rubbing alcohol necessary?

I was thinking a good clean would be sufficient and possibly using white vinegar instead..

I got the dishwasher glue. Won't be pitting them in there as it's in wine glasses but thought it would be tougher. Glad you agree it's not necessary, I can have. Good play now :)

For my embossing I would fold a piece of paper in half and put it on a tray. Most falls into the paper so can tip back into the bag, the rest onto the tray :)

i used a bit of nail varnish remover on the glasses to get them all cleaned up - seemed to do the job x
