My h2b is going to newquay for a week with loads of his mates. I'm dreading it...the things they say they are going to do to him, tie him to a lamp post naked and leave him there....put him on a train when hes drunk etc...is it all talk or do they actually go ahead with these wild ideas lol and will my h2b come home in one piece with no injuries ? :S Have any of u had to deal with this before and are they as hectic as they say they will be?! xxx

Oh my god I'd never forgive his mates if they did something like that to my H2b! He wants something low key, whether they will listen to his views or not is another matter!

There not all like that, my ex husband stayed round his parents the night (i had my hen do the same night so his mum was round mine) and he had a few friends round with a few drinks and they all had a laugh and he still managed to get to the church on time the next day. x

Mine had his in Vegas. They were planning guns, strippers and steak. They got the guns and the steak but hubby couldn't be bothered with the strippers, so they called it a night and went to bed LOL! That's typical of my man though. And his boys are all old enough to know not to do anything stupid. The best man was very responsible.
A lot of what they say is all talk. How well do you know the lads that are going with him? Are they likely to follow through with any of the threats?

I am going away for a week with my sister somewhere nice and sunny and my h2b started of wanting to go shooting in czech republic but is now talking about a party in the local community centre so we'll see.I think h2bs friends/brothers can be trusted to look after him and if they don't they will have me to answer to so i'm not too bothered where they go-o'h and just to make sure it will be several weeks before the wedding lol!

mines having his a couple of months before. i figured that way hangovers, black eyes, and naked train rides etc will all be over. i trust mine 1000% with girls but last stag do they went on ended in the best mans nose decorating a room :0S and mines still having physio from surgery he had to have after his last night out. guess theres no point stressing, his dad and uncles are going but have put my foot down against my dad going lol x

Fairy cakes lol,those boys certainly know how to party! I'm also with both you and Helz as in its the daft scrapes they can get into not whether they will stray etc.So long as the "stags" are long enough away for bruises and egos and dare i say bones to heal before the wedding everything should be fine!...and fairy cakes you do right banning your Dad! xxx

hahaha oh no!

he snapped his tendon and they had rush him in for surgery but none of them can remember proper what happened. there was only 3 and was from work so not even with the usual ones that i could expect it from.... its now been 2 1/2 months since he's done the washing up grrrr due to the open wound and cast lol x

Marie, we are the oposite, we're the first couple out of all our friends to get married so I was hoping seeing as h2b has done nothing to them (yet) they won't be too harsh on him? Lol maybe we are both wishfull thinking?!

...actually i'm starting to freak myself out now. they have a tendancy to get absolutely wrecked and my h2b has ended up in a jail cell on a few nights out for being an arse when he's drunk.......

oh dear Helz, I really feel for you! Knowing that we were going to be the last to get married, I even helped him with his wedding speech to ensure that no offence was made so they can return the favour, knowing that he did such a good job at theirs!

I only have worries about one of his friends, I love this friend to bits, but man, the guy can drink! He used to be captain of the rugby team at uni so obviously knows lots of ways to humiliate people and make them drink, and even though he isn't an 'official' part of the wedding, he will be one of the leaders on the stag do....However, I messaged him yesterday whilst he is in Thailand and he said he is totally ready to give up his partying lifestyle and settle down, WOOHOO! I'm clinging to this so I don't feel more worried!

Steve is going to Plymouth for his stag which is just across the bridge. I'm happy they are going there rather than Newquay (tho theres nothing wrong with newquay) .... he's a magistrate in Plymouth and his mates are sensible enough not to risk any public humiliation in the town. phewwww

What's with the week's away? Must cost a fortune! H2b wants to go paintballing, have a meal and go for a drink! I just want a meal. First time I got married I just went to the local nightclub. Going abroad was for your honeymoon not stag and hen do's! ;-)

Jillybean, I wanted it (and h2b was happy) for his stag do to be in May...plenty of time before a september wedding BUT his best man and usher decided to step in and say he couldnt have a stag do 3/4 months before the wedding cuz it was too far in advance. Unimpressed to say the least!! X

Kisywisy OMG the day before?? There is no way I could ever allow that with my lot, hope ur h2b is ok the next day. I'm sure he will be, otherwise his 'men' would be taking things a little too far! X
