I'm not going with the traditional (at least I think its traditional) stockings and suspenders thing, simply because I just cant get on with them. So I've ordered so ivory bridal tights which are fab! OH says I now dont need a garter...will I look silly still having one?

I dont think it will look silly. Infact I've never heard before that you should only wear it if you have stockings and sussies... first for me! If you want to wear one hun you do just that. I've ordered one but I've got fat legs and wont be showing it off so probably no point in me having one either. Still... I wanted one so it's happening x

I agree with everyone :) Have one if you want to, no rules! Personally I won't be, hate them, but I think you should do exactly what you want to!

I wont be wearing suspenders/stockings or tights but will buy a garter and wear it on bare legs, thats the only 'traditional' thing I'll be doing I guess...think I'll take a miss on the wedding night too lol H2B will have to settle for a bikini!!

I wont be wearing one....hate them. and i wont be wearing stockings or tights....just my bare legs. I am hoping August will be hot...so i cant bear the thought of tights or anything making me even hotter. But each to his own and if you want a garter then go for it, tights or stockings makes no difference, and you should wear a garter on bare legs if thats more comfortable.

I dont think it will look silly. I had tights and a garter for my first wedding but the elastic in the blooming thing went and it fell off lol. Not having one this time as they just irritate me and i want to be comfy all day and not worry about it falling off again lol x x x x x
