Hi lolli88,
I have the same problem only I have sent mine out. I was originally planning on inviting my cousins to the whole day so sent them save the dates however my mum has said that she doesn't think they should come as there is about 18 (big family) of them and we are already tight for space. Now I am stuck as I don't want to upset them by saying that they can only come to the night if they think they will be invited to the whole day
In other words I would just send them to the people that you want for the whole day

Save the dates I think are only supposed to go to them you are inviting to the whole wedding. You don't send them to evening guests. I think the reason behind this is due to day guests maybe needing to take time off work. Don't make the erroe i made and send save the dates out to them that you are unsure about!!! I sent to all my cousins but now wish i hadn't sent to 2 of them as I really dont want them to come now! but as they got a save the date meant for whole day guests they have now booked their transport and accomodation so i now have no choice!! lol xx

yeah think its mainly for day guest which why i decided last minute not to send mine out. due to recent family fighting etc dads change his guest list several times and it did save a lot of money lol.....yes only send to day guests. xxx

I will only be sending them to the people coming to the day do. Every one will know about the wedding anyway so will know to keep the day free, or at least the evening.

I only sent them to the day guests ... but is up to you hon. Although think if I received a STD I would think invited to the day but wouldn't presume anything till got the invite :) Are you making them? If so could make a separate Save The Evening card/magnet??? X x

I have only sent them to the day guests. I did feel bad giving them out to some and not others as I got the feeling they thought the wern't invited at all.
