I have just sent off an email to my MIL2B showing her the flowers we have ordered and she has asked are we going to get a single flower button hole for all our guests as she thinks it would be a nice gesture.
We only have 20 people coming to the states and in that 20 4 will have flowers anyway
What do you all think ???

I agree with dove But because you only have 20 guests perhaps give the wedding party double flower buttonholes and the rest single flower???

I think keeping it to the bridal party makes more sense... they'll be the ones helping keep guests organised and know-how and things like that so easy to spot :)

i agree with Dove to. We are asking immediate family if they want flowers however they will have to pay for there own unless they are bridesmaid/usher/best man etc

I think i will suggest that to them and then if they do order for them i think it would look nice as we only have a few guests but still not 100% convinced

Ive only done wedding party, not for expense as we only have a small wedding but as all the men are in kilts I wanted h2b and best man to stand out a bit.

My mum also suggested this as I think it was the done thing years ago. But Im not as I think its too expensive. I think just the bridal party should have them.
I am now Mrs Stacey Stiles and loving it!

i went to a wedding in may where the bridal pary had beautiful button holes etc and then there was a basket of white carnations at the entrance to the church for everyone else to have
i think its more expense to be honest, if you can afford it ans want to then fine but if not then dont. we wont be :)

I think flowers all round is nice. Make everyone feel special. x

If you're quite handy with a needle, you could always make some for the guests. I'm making buttonholes for my h2b, best man and our families out of sparkly buttons and chiffon.
I found the idea on a website, can send the link if you're interested xx

I think it's nice for just the bridal party to have them also and like the others say it's more expense but wont be much more for just a few people. At the end of the day it's up to you hun xxx
