I have chosen my ring and I love it! Put a pic up in my albums.
But everyone I have shown, pulls a face and says "oooo errrr yeah, but its a bit different" Even my H2B says, get another ring and I will get this one for you as a gift.
He has already got me the necklace and bracelet.

    Now I am coonfused :-s

I think its lovely, and you should have as a wedding the ring you love not the ring other people love, it is different but it is not a bad thing

The ring is something that symbolises your love and bond for each other, not simply a pretty to be shown about. If you love it then that is all that matters. Don't worry what others say, as lysblanc says hun.

Ignore them all - have the ring that you love and want, you're the one that will wear it everyday, not them! If you get another one to please everyone else, you won't feel the same about it.

JaeSin wanting to have something that is different is not 'bad' the same as desiring a traditional look isn't. It is what being an individual is all about.
I can pretty much guarantee that there are a few who are involved in our wedding that wouldn't have some of the elements we are having but it is not up to them. It isn't their day, their memories or their happiness. It is ours and that is what is important. The same goes for yours hun.

    JaeSin.
Your wedding ring is one of the THE most personal items you'll ever buy.
The only person whose opinion counts is - YOU. Obviously your partner's wishes should be taken into account (that's what marriage is all about isn't it) but ultimately you've got to be happy.
When all is said and done your wedding rings is going to be with you longer than almost anything else from your wedding day apart from photo's so its vital that you are happy with your choice.
As a supplier I don't have access to the photo's of your ring so I can't really comment on how it looks but the post above mine mentions a dangly star - that's the only thing that would worry me - it is likely that you'll lose it at some stage as anything loose is vulnerable.
My advice, for what its worth, is to listen politely to everyone who's telling you what you should do (including me!) - and then make your own mind up!

It is a lovely ring but I have to echo stressed and smooch. What if something were to happen to the star? I admire you for wanting something different but I also fear your dissapointment if it were to get damaged. Your wedding ring is meant to be for all of your married life. I think I would rather have it as a special ring just on a different finger....that way if you were to need to take it off it would be ok. I know that isn't what you want to hear and I dont think you are being unreasonable in wanting it but I do thing practicalities need to be considered too. What a lovely gesture by H2B....I would take him up on it xxxx
