Hey guys really jus wanted to have a bit of a rant bout how im feelin! We decided to book Sept 2012 for our wedding as we got engaged in sept, also in scotland the really rainy season tends to be june/july/aug. I knew my American family were planning on trying to visit scotland summer 2012 but they hadnt booked or decided anything for definate. Iv now found out they hav defo booked adn are coming mid august and are a bit upset that theyl miss my big day. I dont have much family so part of me would love to change the date so that they could be there, although i dont really know most of them very well. The H2B is dead against changing the date as right enough he believes changing the date would be revolving it round them when we hardly know them. I get his point its jus that, having hardly any family, it would be nice to include the ones we do have. And if i do manage to change the date and for some reason they cant travel, itl all be for nothing. Ah wot to do lol!! would love to try talk my H2B round tho xxx

we fit together perfectly. . .like a jigsaw puzzle.

How can they have booked already for August 2012 when flights only go on sale 11 months in advance?

i have no idea specialsundae, my aunt from america was on the fone to my mum yesterday and said everything is booked and they are defo coming. Ive been to america a few times and kno my aunt and uncle and two of my cousins pretty well but also got two other cousins that iv only met twice and dont kno any of their partners and they all have kids now too which i havent met. Think my H2B is right not to change the date, im prob not thinkin rationally as most of the family i hav here dont speak to my immediate family and guess it would feel like filling that void by having the americans there. Mind u i kno that sounds a bit selfish :-( xxx
