I know there have been discussions before about short hair, before I was on here. Just wondering if anyone else has short hair and what they are planning to do with it on the day?!! I had my hair cut the other night, a bit shorter than it is on my photo, and someone at work said to me "oh aren't you growing it for your wedding" - well I'm 44 years old, I've never had long hair, and I didn't when I was married last time (though I was 18 years younger!!), so I don't see why I would change it now! Anyone any ideas please?
Thanks Lisa x

My sister had short hair for her wedding - she wore a headband and no veil - she looked gorgeous. I'd suggest a headbad or clips and not too styled and stiff xx

I have short hair..i did grow it a little bit for the wedding so the wires of the head dress were covered ..and my hairdresser tried a few styles..I think the one we chose worked. I did google tiaras for short hair and decided a beaded headband with a spray looked better then a traditional tiara. Pics on my profile in my wedding album xx

I had really short hair when I got engaged last May and as soon as I started planning the wedding my hair growing commenced and I'm so glad I did. Your so restricted with hair styles for short hair and I really want mine down and curly. In a year I've got it below my shoulders and I have another 5 months of growing to go but will also have extensions. BUT that being said I have seen some gorgeous hair styles for shorter hair!

Oooh melody I love that hairstyle...
Lisa - I got my hair cut into a graduated bob in September and I love it, it's the best my hair has looked and really suits me so I don't want to grow it out. My hairdresser was panicking that she won't be able to do anything with it but when I tried a dress on in Feb, I'd just done my hair that morning so it was all lovely and tidy and it really suited the style of dress I want...don't know if I want a veil as it wouldn't stay in but I am defo keeping my hair short.
My hair was short but i grew it, its a lot longer now and the hairdresser can do a lot more with it.. ive also bought hair extensions that clip in so that it gives a little more length and volume to my hair. x
Very very happy as Mrs Erica Trow
I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! xx

Its so hard to find some inspiration for short wedding hair styles. xxx

Thanks for your ideas girls. Love the photos Melody and Joey the ones you've got on your profile. Still don't know what to do though I definitely don't want a veil but not sure what head dress to have, ie a simple headband or a tiara type thing. I'm thinking i might grow it a bit more before then but not too much xx
