I always had quite long hair, but decided two days before Christmas to have it cut short... like Frankie from the Saturdays, I love the style, however, my fiancé who had been talking about getting married for years but never proposed (I'd got to the point where I just thought it wasn't going to happen) proposed on new years eve.
Now I have 18 months to grow my hair, no idea how long I can grow it to in that time (and not looking forward to that stupid in between stage I'll have soon) but if it is quite short... have you got any nice idea's for how I could have it. I want to wear a veil and a tiara on the day

If your hair doesn't grow as much as you'd like, you could have an up do using hair extensions for extra volume and length? X

Mine is fairly short at the moment too and I have decided to grow it again for the wedding but as you say DonnaH39, when you want it to grow it just doesn't seem to!!! :-(

Have you tried tiaras and veils with short hair? Im sure you will look gorgeous no matter what length yr hair xx

Haven't tried yet, but I'm dress shopping next weekend so will ask to try a tiara and veil on while I'm there to see what I think
I did the same in January 2013 (Frankie was my inspiration!) by July 2013 when we got married (we only set the wedding date in February 13, otherwise I would never have had my hair cut) my hair was long enough to have hair extensions. I was made up! There's pictures in my albums to show you that it is possible! I only had 6 months to grow mine so 18 months is plenty of time, you just have to be patient! I only had it trimmed once between that time and it was fine. Good luck! x

Thanks MrsH that's good to know :) especially considering you had the same haircut as well (will have a look at your pics now) out of interest did you cut it again after the wedding?

Just had a peek too MrsH, I have always thought about dying my hair, what a fabulous colour! (I assume it isn't naturally that colour, he he) You would never know that you had extensions, were they expensive?
CommentAuthorMrsH
Thank you ladies! Extensions were less than £100 for 4 rows, it was good because it was a perfect match for my hair colour. Chose a hair up hairstyle so that the extensions were less obvious, and yes I did cut it after the wedding! Kept it for the honeymoon but then cut it off when we got back! Felt soooo good! Although I've never gone back to the Frankie haircut, too much like hard work! Was good whilst it lasted though! xx

Sure you'll be fine but like people have said; just try on different veils and styles :)
