H2B has suddenly decided to take a huge interest in everything wedding related I'm starting to think because it's 8 months away he feels he has to contribute. His contribution was phoning the design ring shop and ordering my ring early :) He's actually changed his mind about wearing a ring now as well which has put the biggest smile on my face. There's silly little things as well.
Has anyone else's hubby's gone through a similar change?

My man has picked his tartan, He was due to be married before we met so had thought about it already! Apparently his ex arranged everything and asked him nothing about his views so i have been asking him what he thinks about things.
i usually get oh yeh thats nice or what ever you think but if he really has an opinion he will tell me.,
He told me he didnt want a celidh band he just wanted a disco which i agree and glad he told me before i worried over whether we should have a band or not lol!

Kinda similar - my guy went on a stag do last weekend and when he came back he was talking about how excited he is about getting married and buying a new house somewhere outside of London near a good school. Oh and getting a puppy too..
It was a bit unnerving lol

I think that my man will get more excited and get more involved now that we have set a date!!!
My partner is in Libya (His in the Navy, on the ship thats in the news all the time as it keeps getting shocked at) and at the start he didnt really want to know about things, he was like its out day but your the person who has been thinking about your wedding day since you was young, so you know how you want it. used to always quote, i will just give you my card, you tell me where and when then i will be there, however now even though his a million miles away, he likes to know everything he likes the wedding spreedsheet updated and emailed to him every week so he can see where we are! also wants photos of everything that has been brought and things that i want haha! so total change of heart! and his pretty chuffed that right now i am so under budget (i have done a degree and a deploma in art, graphics and interior design) so i am pretty i know what i want and colour schemes and ideas! haha so there is somethings he dont have a real input in haha! x

mine took an interest in the venue, menu, cake, colour scheme, bridesmaids outfits, his suit and guest list but i think thats about all the help I'm going to get! lol. I keep asking him about things but he just says he's really not fussed about the details and that he trusts me to make it lovely. He's only really doing this for me, marriage has never been something that was important to him but he knows its really important to me, so i think he finds it difficult to be enthusiastic about something that he's only really doing for my benefit! I'm planning on pinning him down in a couple months to discuss some stuff with him lol xx

H2b is just annoyingly interested by changing his mind every day he wants the invites out by nov now he wants to cut the day guest list to make it more personal after telling half his friends they are invited all day.glad he's interested tho xx

My h2b is all hands on with sorting out the honeymoon, that was his domain. Now it's booked and it looks amazing, the boy did well ;)

My h2b is getting really involved, it's nice though. He did say that i have the overriding decision on everything though which i remind him of if he doesn't agree with things! Lol.
Actually it all seems to be going really well and fingers crossed will be all paid of by Christmas. :0)

yeh its weird mine couldnt have cared less but now hes actually started looking at things like cars and hes been talking about it more think hes shocked we have gone from 22 months away to under 14 and it feels so fast we will be married before we know it lol xx

My excitement didn't last long with this, he ordered my ring and were going to get his ordered on Saturday....maybe if he gets out of bed or actually come home from work at a reasonable hour. Complete U-turn in less than 2 weeks am sure he's on his man period lol

Lol, mine gives his input regularly but I'm convinced that as this started at the end of may after we'd been to a friends wedding, it was because she made her hubby wear baby pink, lol xx

Mine was really controlling about everything to start off with. wouldn't have these flowers or that clour or anything. He has calmed down now and is wearing pink cos i told him it's not gay... anyway he has actually been quite good with everything and his taste is probably better than mine so i' grateful. We even went haberdasherying (?) and picked out fabrics and stuff that we liked.

My H2B is not too interested... only for the big things, which I expected really. I see his mind switch off when I start talking about favours and chair covers lol. Today, though, he came home from work and asked me how the wedding planning was coming along. I was slightly shocked!

awww i guess Kev is kinda interested, he wanted to come along to meet the photographer and florist, cake lady and meet the planner at our venue, so he is interested where it matters....you know the important bits with money! lol
I am just pleased that we have very similar tastes and ideas about things....he also said about the ring..he was unsure whether to have one because of his bodybuilding it will get all bent up and scratched (and can also cause injury) ...but i said he is having one and i will ALLOW him to remove for gym purposes only! lol xx he is leaving the rest to me! couldnt imagine him mucking about with invites and tea lights somehow!
