I will be having a meal out with all the girls and then onto a cabaret night! I love cabaret, I find it so funny and you can sing along, have a boogie and enjoy yourself without worrying about anything!

I'm now going to a murder mystery 1 night stay thing in Sutton Coldfield, it's nothing over the top, and I'm hoping some people will have a laugh. I can't help it that I'm not a drinker so going out clubbing isn't an option for me.

Probably a night away in a cottage with spa, or something low key, I'm not a big drinker so clubbing isnt something id choose to do, plus ive told everyone they even mention stripper and they are dead lol! Afternoon tea and a lovely meal somewhere would also be more my thing.

finally settled on mine.. we are going to the stones which are blue! got a cabin that sleeps 14 and are there for 3 nights. We've booked inclusive, so breakfast and lunch/dinner is included. Can either use the on site pub and restaurant or have a takeaway all included! We thought the friday night we'd have a chilled out night in the pub, sat is activity day - we are doing high ropes and spa (all included in the booking price!), and then the bms are planning sat night in (thought we'd go with the takeaway option on sat and have party games etc but I dont know anything about those.. lazy sunday morning and then planning another activity late sunday afternoon - looking at zorbing, and then dinner on site.. booked it for £160 each which thought was quite good! xx

I like the sound of that Helen. Me and some close friends are going to MAGALUF for two nights. I've never done a girls holiday so ten of us are going there. I'm also doing a night in Liverpool for everyone with a fancy dress theme. Was going to go on the duck marine but it sank earlier this month so got to think of something else to do.

I am so stuck with my hen do!!
I just want to go somewhere and relax in the sun for 3days/2nights with cocktails and giggles and girls but it's getting so pricey now. 4 of my friends have kids and 2 are teachers so it needs to be in school holidays or bank holiday which throws the price up! Ending up being 300+ each before any spending money and people won't be able to afford it.
I just don't know what else I want to do :( I've had enough boozey nights out being a student and it doesn't appeal to me, also many if my friends just sit down in a huff after a few hours and it ruins it!
I do not want to make cocktails, or go pole dancing, or burlesque or anything tacky, and that seems to be all they offer in the UK. I may be not looking hard enough tho?
Doesn't help my friends are all over the country so any location is difficult for someone.

Any help would be great if you don't mind, I know I'm so difficult!!!

I'm not really sure what we're doing as my bridesmaids have decided they are organising it as a surprise. H2B and I have told everyone that we want a Stags vs Hens thing during the day, like Paintballing or more likely Go-Karting. Then the girls have taken over for when we split up and I reckon it will be a good night. My Chief Bridesmaid has said probably nothing abroad, which is a shame, as I quite fancy a nice blow-out in Magaluf or somewhere for the weekend... Still time to convince her though!

Ladies can i just suggest - The Dreamboys .......

THE BEST HEN NIGHT EVER or girls night out ever for that matter too!!

We went to my local theatre and i thought was just going to be like 1hr show, it was over 2hrs long plus we were 3rd row from the front - great view ;) !!
I got taken on stage and had to rub oil all over one's chest and bum, then had them dance all over me. Was quite scary being up there in front of so many screaming girls haha! luckily the lights were so bright I couldnt see further then the 3rd row haha!
The whole theatre sung going to the chapel and gona get married to me which was pretty cool.

The routines were great lots of dancing to some really good music!

Were going to see them again next aug when they return for my friends birthday was so so much fun!

Lana those packages are pretty good value usually, however im not sure in this case its saving you much! . I live in bristol and its a great night out! For a decent hotel around here you'd be paying £70 (min), so £35 each - I guess two girls would share! The classes like those are generally £30 each. So thats £65 each. For vip entry into clubs its generally free (you just email to put your name down) , however the package might include special designated area/champagne - which if you arranged yourself you wohld have to pay for.. x

Had my hen party last weekend was amazing! We did the cocktail masterclass thingy they do in a certain vodka club. Totally recommend it. Had shots & cocktails given to us, then they made cocktails for us as a demo, then we got to make out own x2 (loved the pornstar martini's!) then we had more shots, and with 13 girls this was an amazingly good laugh, so much giggling. The 2 bar men were great too, lots of banter ;-)
Ill add a few pics to my album if people wanna see.

My chief BM is in charge of planning but the latest idea is to go down to Bristol for a weekend ending up in reflex. Most of us live about2.5hr drive from Bristol but I lived there for 4 years for uni and still have friends down that way. Plus the last time I had my home friends to visit me at uni we ended up in reflex randomly and had the best night out in a long time! Everyone likes a bit of 80s cheese and I have heard rumours of dressing up as nuns......

Will also do a Sunday afternoon tea for other ladies who can't/ don't want to come down to Bristol :)

I'm having a tribute night (Disco Divas) at a local hotel. It includes 3 course meal, wine and dancing until 1am. We were going to do it in January but it is my Mum's 60th birthday and my Stepdad wants to take her away on the same weekend that the hen night would have been! We're doing it in March instead :o)

I don't drink so I was thinking that instead of the usual type of hen do that you hear about all the time, I was thinking of doing something nice and elegant like going for afternoon tea and then having a pamper night or something, or even possibly going to the spa but I am not sure how much it would all cost and don't really want to spend a fortune on it. One of my FSIL's who is one of my bridesmaids mentioned about organising me a good hen do but she is very much into clubbing etc. although she is very good at organising a good party and the likes. I don't know if she would know what kind of things I am into without asking everyone else as we don't particularly talk as much as my other bridesmaid (also my other FSIL). I personally think my other bridesmaid would know a lot more in regards to my likes and dislikes but I guess I will find out closer to the time! x

My sister (moh) just told me she booked a 1950's caravan in a blues bar in central London. the caravan is the private bar which serves frozen cocktails. There's a live band and dance floor with this van as the bar.

I was impressed, she got my style to a T without me telling her what I was after

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can offer me any advice on the best cocktail making classes in York City Centre for my friends hen do?
They all seem to be the same price but with different drinks/games etc. Don't know which to go for.

Also, places I have spoken to have said fancy dress is fine but to keep it family friendly and non offensive... Any suggestions how I work around this when the bride has said 'the tackier, the better' and wants the whole willy straws & flashing head gear etc lol!

    TIA :-) x

Does it have to be York?

Just with them saying family friendly. Although I don't think a few flashing head gear and willy straws are too bad, you can always suss out the bars once your there that will let you get away with it.
