As it says in the title really. My shoes are rather plain but match my dress perfectly for style. The lady who owns the shop I bought my dress from can personalise shoes by adding diamantes to them and I'm tempted but not sure whether I really should. Noone will see my shoes anyway on the day as they'll be under my dress so think it's a waste of money, also I'm not sure whether they'll look good with blinging up or if they're best left as they are. However, would they look bette than they do already with a bit of sparkle added to them?

    Here are my shoes:

This is my dress, as you can see there is only a tiny crystal brooch on the right side of the dress (left in the picture):

So what do you ladies think?

To bling or not to bling?

I think with this one, your look is overall elegance and the bling would not suit the dress. Bling with jewellery or a tiara though may work? Xx

I say no bling! Your dress is simple and classic (and looks absoloutly beautiful on you!) and I think the shoes should reflect that too xxx

Aww thanks ladies. Sounds like you have read my mind and confirmed my feelings but wanted to just check I wasn't being boring. I will bling with jewellery as I will want to wear the diamond necklace I was bought by my mum a couple of years ago and will wear diamond earrings to match.

No tiara for me though, does NOT suit me, I tried one on and looked ridiculous lol.

Speaking of the dress - I'M PICKING IT UP TOMORROW WITH THE PERSONALISED PIECE I HAD MADE TO GO WITH IT FOR THE SHOULDERS! Can't wait, so excited!

How exciting!! You're picking it up early!! Mine isn;t ready until November and I'm a May 13 bride! Tiaras don't suit me either, I think they look a bit tacky! What are you going for instead? Veil?xxx

I'll try and remember if I pop it on again. I have piccies from when I actually bought the dress in my albums but without the specially made shoulder piece.

L-K - I did go to order the dress at 9 months but then the owner said she had decided to stop selling that designer and offered me the shop sample at 2/3rds the price if I wanted it rather than ordering me a new one (which she was happy to do also) so as she got it all dry cleaned for me I decided to take the £500 saving and have the shop sample.

I agree with the ladies. The dress and shoes match beautifully and even though I love a bit of bling, it all looks so elegant & classy! (not that bling isn't but you get my drift!)
Can't wait to see the beauty :) xx

I say no mainly because really no one will see them anyway under your dress maybe just the odd flash and certainly not enough time to appreciate any added bling. Love the dress btw!

I'll be the out one out then but thats because Ive gone all blingy lol.

If you wanted a teeny but of bling you could just do the centre bit at the front, that will match your bit of bling on the dress ;)

The shoulder piece I have just picked up with my dress which is just been dropped off safely at my parents house has some swarovski crystals on it but it's quite subtle and just makes the dress so perfect, I've fallen in love all over again!

So I have decided I am keeping the shoes as they are as noone will see them and they are perfect just as they are, means I can spend the money on something else xx
