Trying to organise access for the band for the evening reception. The venue have stated they can get in prior to 12.30 pm on the day or if this is not possible then access would not be available until after 7 pm. Our evening reception starts at 7 pm and the band can't do a full set up before 12.30 pm so where do I go from here?? I'm thinking of saying to the venue that the band will be arriving at 6 pm as the majority of the wedding breakfast will be over and they wont be disturbing us too much as they will be setting up in the opposite end of the room or does anyone else have any other ideas?

I would defo speak to the venue and say that you are happy for them to arrive and set up at 6 as ur have the room anyway so they won't be getting in other peoples way. As they are unable to get to the venue til 5.30/6 so won't be able to set up at 12.30 x
