Ok so my wedding is 9 weeks away and I really need some ideas for venue decoration not the tables as thats all done they have mirrored plate, photo frame/tablename, and a glass bird filled with crystals, table runner, chair covers and sashes, each guest will have a favour box, place card and lace napkin ring - pics below

My top table I need help with as I'll only have mr&mrs sign and white rose floral arrangement maybe more glass birds needs bunting or swag or something
thats it for the wedding breakfast room
the venue has what they call a break out area where the bar will be tables for cake, sweet buffet, present table this leads out to the garden and the reception rooms come off it so most of my bits are in that area - more pics below

(this will be similar to mine except mine is in a shabby chic style plant pot)

(will be in a white wicker basket)

also have a wire white love sign for the sweet table
In the garden is a big tree I am hanging solar fairy lights on and maybe pom poms or these

For evening reception I have NOTHING! no idea how to use what I have or what I can add, I am so worried everything won't flow together nicely I really need some ideas my theme feels like its a mess its not quite glam not quite vintage not quite shabby chic desperate for some guidance please ladies sorry its so long
I think you have some lovely ideas....your cake is stunning :) We were thinking of having hearts in the trees outside....I'm just finding it hard to get the size I want. I am struggling with decor too. It's hard to imagine it all together sometimes...think what you have will flow lovely together x x

Its just my venue is a hotel quite a budget hotel too and the rooms are like board rooms and need a lot of tlc don't want them to look bare I really don't like balloons either so can't even use them to add to the room x
what about some foam roses, lace and wee tealights. halve like a lace table runner, a small glass vase of some sort with a few foam roses and wee tealights inbetween. ive seen a pic of that on a wedding website if you want i can see if i can find it again if your interested? xxx
All the ways of my life id rather be with you.

im not getting married untill 2014, and so far have changed my mind about the table decor 4-5 times : /, currently going with cupcakes as a centre piece. Want something the guests can interact with, with maybe a few table crystals around that. Not having chair covers as they are too expensive and just add to the already increasing cost of the wedding. Table plan im getting a cork board and coving it in red fabric and making the little bits my self. Want to make more things, as want it make it a little bit more personal instead of a bog standard normal wedding. Any ideas would be greatful, our colours are white and red :)
Enjoy your days ladies :)

flicker effect tea lights are great and what about putting flicker effect tea lights in stuff like these *******************************8in the evening and lining a pathway or the corridor, room or somewhere that would look lovely, Gett some bunting and have it put up on the walls instead of the tables then its thier for all day use.
Home bargains are selling these at the moment http://www.homebargains.co.uk/products/4134-rose-tree-4ft-case-of-4.aspx for £56 again in the reception of the place could look lovely and utilise day and night. You could drape some fairy lights on them to turn on when it gets dark!
EDIT link removed please read the rules MODS

Hi Hun, What about Candle Lantern Bags with electric tea lights? use them to light up the grounds???? Not too expensive either. Look on the bay of E. you can also get them in different colours
im having lavender and cream lanterns in my evening reception venue. clusters of 5 or 6 with 3 of them lit. its costing a bit (£300) as im having a company come and set it all up for me.
I have put a pic of something similar with the pom poms you have already put up that i think will fit with your theme.
would look so nice with all your other bits of decor. not sure about how you will pull this off tho see what you can find on the bay. I decided to hire a venue decorator for evening room as its such a big space and i couldnt be bothered with the stress of decorating it myself. x
I think all your things are lovely, I dont even know what mine is going to be like as I have left the decor to the venue. But I was worrying abit a few weeks a go and had a word with the manager and all she said was dont worry we pride ourselves on our decor. So I have just given up worrying or I'll send myself potty lol x

i love the pictures with the lantrens and the pompoms. i'm going to ring my venue today and ask if i can have them. they have a not so nice suspending ceiling that i hate. reminds of hospital ceilings hb2 says well your not going to be phtographing the ceiling and no ones going to seat looking at it but its dreadfull and i just want to mask it as much as i can plus the pictures of the room i have seen you can see the ceiling lol

result just spoke to my lovely lady at the venue and she as said yes to the pompoms and lantens for the ceiling so should be able to go from this

to something like this

not sure if i should mix it up a little with lantens with led lights inside and pompoms. was going to have a go at making my own pompoms and that would help keep costs down x
