Glad im not the only one! Luckily a lot of things don't need paying for yet! Both the church and venue only want paying nearer the time so at the moment I'm working on collecting venue decorations etc until the money starts flowing in for dresses etc! I'm also asking for things for the wedding for Christmas and my birthday as that will take some pressure off x

we've sorted all the deposits, though ive not picked anyone for hair and make up yet and we don't have the suits or bm dresses sorted.
the venue was arranged so we would pay it over the 2 years in 4 payments, it includes the catering as well and both ceremony and reception rooms, plus corkage for 12 bottles of wine (of which ive forgotten to budget for, for fuck saaaaaake plus we will want to add another 12. argh) so its a lot, but its covering a lot of stuff at least.

I'm stressing now...just because h2b decided we're going to Florida for new year to Disney...his mum n dad are paying but we have to pay our park tickets...but it's still more expense with that and finding spending money that I kinda wish he'd just said no we can't afford it!

i feel like that about everything at the moment kel! we're getting a dog in 2 weeks and its costing us an arm and a leg!! I do need another furbaby in the house though, Im missing Cloud terribly and I'm dying to go out and get an army of cats.
we have tickets for muse next week, of which we bought mooonths ago, so that expense isn't the issue, what was was his works being a pain in the arse and him not being able to get the day off, theres no way im wasting that money!!!!!! Arghh!!!!!!
Ive been told i can buy one of the bm dresses to see what the girls think, as i can get a cheap one for 20 quid - so if it fits and looks ok on them that's saving some pennies

I won a voucher for £50 off photo booth but I never actually thought of getting it until I got the voucher. Duno if I'm going to get it or not. I've fell in love with a starlight dance floor so that's extra expense already :)

so my h2b suggested something really nice the other day. I have a ring my dad left me when he passed away, it's a signet ring he used to wear so not a wedding ring but my h2b has asked if he can have it melted down and turned into his wedding band. It's just sitting in a box at the moment so totally happy to do this. Went to a couple of jewellers and both quoted just £100 to do it and as the ring has about 7g of gold in it there's enough to make a pretty decent wedding band out of it. Plus it means the rest of the money in the budget for wedding rings can go towards me getting the diamond encrusted one I want
Off upto Glasgow for my birthday next month and they have a jewellery quarter up there so think we might look then
I just want to book more things!

we're also having a photobooth but haven't got that good a price! We also have a magician for inbetween ceremony and meal so that people don't get bored when photos are getting taken

That's true, although the venue only cost £300 and the other tuff was at low cost or free! The expensive stuff we still have to find the money for..such as catering (£1500) transport (£500) entertainment (£500) the church (£700) and dresses for me and bridesmaids x 6 (I daren't even think about that!) scary prospect when I'm still job hunting! :-) We'll get there eventually though! This is why I'm gad it's still 15 months away, so I can buy things here and there! X
