I'm hoping to get my BM dresses after Christmas too. I'm on a juicing diet at the moment which seems to be working well...once I've shifted a couple more pounds I'm going to pull my finger out and go on a mission to find my dress!

Ahhh it is creeping up fast I was thinking I was totally unorganised but I only booked and gave notice 16 days ago and in those 16 days paid deposits on the venue car and paid the notice! Lol xx

No it shouldn't be, they should just be able to move the day like we do x

I last posted about only the venue deposit being paid and some bits for the centrepieces, but now iv got my wedding dress, veil and tiara but even at that im still well behind a lot of people! panicking! x

My dress got ordered yesterday! Paid most of the balance off too. I tried it back on and fell in love all over again :)

Had a quote to have the bridesmaid dresses altered; almost £60 per dress to be taken up and taken in slightly... Is it just me or does that seem quite pricey? Xx

I'm giving notice this Friday.....well I'm meant to be...hopefully I'll be up to it,don't really wanna have to change as we had to pay £25 as a deposit for the slot but I'm so ill at the min :-(

Hello....im getting married 21st march... when we started planning the wedding it was Febuary this year and i thought i had plenty of time so by May i had booked:

Church
Reception venue
dress
cars
cake
photographer
bridesmaid dresses and
Honeymoon....

then there was a few months of doing nothing.... last week we had the letter from the vicar who is marrying us, its just over 4 months away and we need to start putting the order of service together - am very excited!!

Gave notice which was great thought I felt better then got rushed to hospital tonight.... Don't run before I can crawl! :-(

I'm not too sure tbh,not feeling well anyway

I've got bacterial gastroenteritis (severe stomach flu)but got really bad stomach cramps last night so they asked me loads of questions via nhs direct,asking if I could be pregnant etc (no) then I had to go in straight away which got me really worried and I was going hysterical thinking there must be something seriously wrong as they thought it could be an ectopic or appendicitis ....turned out neither,it was just a bad reaction with the gastroenteritis

Also assistant manager rang me up last night and said since I'd said to a work colleague in the morning that I'd been feeling better and that I was not being sick as much that I could come back to work today because to her apparently being contagious is just if u work with children or food .... Deluded! Comes to mind,she has no idea how I'm feeling

I know hubby to be bought me it to read in bed while he was looking after my girls .... Was a nice surprise x

And h2b has booked a meeting with our wedding planner for first week in dec,so something weddingy to look forward to x

Book my hen do today, well my chief bm did. Used that company you recommended Kel. Doing half day spa then cocktail making class staying in 4* spa hotel in Leeds. 9th August. Can't wait.

I wanted York but the hotels through that company weren't as good quality in York and the were more than the Leeds ones

Mines booked for Birmingham in April overnight stay in a spa hotel then entrance to the comedy club with food then entrance to the nightclub for those that want to.... I am also having a second one in Crete when were out there. :-)

Forgot about this giving notice lark... We've still not received anything il have to give them a ring!

I have hardly done a thing for the wedding recently!

The venue still haven't finalised the civil ceremony license yet which leaves us unable to give notice (although the registrar has been provisionally booked- thank god!). We're going to pay some more of the venue bill and discuss possible food options on Saturday so I'll give them a nudge then.
