Have found gorgeous reception venue in a small village.I am in love with the place! A proper village which has no registry service nearby to hold ceremony (only churches). How far is an acceptable distance to asks guests attending both the ceremony, dinner and after party to travel? Does anyone else have this problem?

Well we are doing a registry office wedding and then we are having the reception in the pub i used to go to as a kid with my dad to watch football and rugby. It is goingt to be upstairs where all the parties and stuff is so it is not to bad. But the reg office is about 30 to 40 min walk and drive as to drive is a nightmare

Its ok it is hard when you dont have the same venue for everything. We are asking people that come to our reception not to drive as we dont what accidents as some of my family seem to think that only one drink and drive is fine but then that one drink turns in to two or three so we have asked them to bus or taxi and then we will buy there first drink to cover the costs
