    Hello :)

Just wondering if any of you mummies have had to have clexane injections while pregnant? Ive came back as high risk factor V so have to have one a day between now and the baby being born in march then a while after the birth too.

    xx

I had to have them, or variations of, during both my pregnancies and c-sections (and for any surgeries) due to a blood condition I have. They can be a bit of a pain, no pun intended. I always found it easier to put them in the soft tissue of my ever expanding back side as I was advised to try and avoid putting them directly into my bump.

Try not to worry, they can be painful to do but you get used to doing them.

I had them for 6 weeks after I had baby and had some horrendous bruises, I think the trick is to pinch the skin. Not pleasant thou :(
