Wedding Forum - Secret vegas wedding brought forward 2...

hey everyone i havent logged in for a while but im sooooo excited by the latest change in plans and as i cant telly ANYONE except you guys i couldnt resist a post!!
just before xmas me and htb decided that this halloween we would wed in las vegas, its top secret due to family feuds etc we have told people were going to usa for a week but havent decided which state yet, so far no one suspects anything lol
anyway htbs work cancelled rest days over halloween so of course goodbye vegas in october :( but the good but very scary news is that were now going to vegas in august which means im getting married sooner woooohoooo, tomorrow we will know for certain if were going 5th-11th aug or 23-29th we were hoping for the last week as its cheaper rooms and flights but his work have again said prob not and will have final vote tomorrow i have my fingers crossed though!
the other reason i wanted to post was to say i have found a store on the bay of e which is the official clearence store for a
`very` well known store that holly and fern design for?? they sell wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses etc and when they get returned if any tiny imperfection is found they get put on the clearance store on the bay i just brought a dress they are selling for £250 but paid £32.99 inc p&p they start auctions as low as £25 and most ive seen is £49.99 might be worth a look every now and again to see if anyone else can grab a bargain ive added pic of mine

We got married in Sept 2011 and it was hot then - I think the thermometer on the Harley registered 105 when we headed back in from the Grand Canyon!

I'd tend to agree about the chapels - well, certainly the one we went to. The pics they gave us that were included in the package were photo-shopped to death - they made hubby look like a plastic Ken doll LOL! We ended up buying more on a disc (they weren't actually that much to be honest, but I can't remember exactly how much), but it is a bit cheeky that they do this.
We did a sunset limo tour for 3 hours, which took in the Vegas sign, Bellagio fountains, Treasure Island, Freemont Street and the reaction of people was something else! We had people coming up to us asking if they could have their photo taken with us! Madness. We tipped the driver well as we felt he went above and beyond - he knew all the sneaky back routes into the touristy places.
We then ended up back at our hotel bar with the younger ones of our gang - so there were 6 of us in total and we drank until the early hours in their bar.

It's going to be amazing this will be my first time flying and going out of uk so I'm double excited!
There's also the wedding wagon which Marry you pretty much anywhere there pics on Facebook of in front of Paris tower, Luxor, and my fav the bellagio fountain at 9pm ish they look really good but of course it is public but then again it is vegas and could be fun we have no guests to worry about.

Another question for those married in Vegas, I know what I need to do before my ceremony but do I need to do anything after as I don't want to get home and find we're not really married? Thanks x

Ah that's brilliant thanks a lot who do u notify back home my local reg office? I only asked as I saw a chapel who wanted more to do the official paper work that makes it legal and stuff said that u need to submit a certificate in your own country and also that there apostilles needed I have no idea what this means but seems they may be cons x
