The amazing thing about our venue is that the walls and chairs are all the right colour for our theme so i don't have to do anything about that! :)
The colour scheme is Navy Blue and Ivory (although my idea is that it's the SEA- it's made of 1000s of different shades of blues so i'm not too fussed if they're not all the same!).
There are going to be 14 round tables (seating 8 each) and our long table. My Dad has a gorgeous large model of a sailing boat so we're going to have that on the head table as the centre piece.
The tables are going to be covered by white linen (which we're hiring), and my friend is making us thick navy blue table runners to go on the tables. The centre pieces for the other tables are large fish bowls filled with sand. There's going to be a large sea shell inside each bowl (being collected by my h2b's sister who's a scuba diver!) and a few tea lights. Out side the bowl there will be a scattered mix of small shells which i've been collecting from the beach.

On each table there will also be a coil of rope (not massive) and a little booklet of about 5 knots (which i'll be making) which will be called "Tying the Knot" - a little pun on words is always good!.

We will be doing wedding favours- they'll be sparklers for later as it's bonfire night! (makes up for the fact that we can't have fireworks as it's in a built up area)

Oh and name cards- simple white card with the person's name on and in a navy blue ink a stamp of a shell (already bought 2 different shell stamps- the same size from an independent place)- they're the same stamps that we've used on the wedding invites!

I'm thinking about getting some balloons too- in a few different shades of blue and some cream ones in the mix too), and putting them around the centre in different places.

Oh- and we're hopefully having a "photo booth" filled with nautical and sailing props for people to take photos with!

I've just had a search and from what I can find, it was series 4, episode 9. The couple were called Mitch and Laura. xx

    thanks! shall have a look.

Atm i'm trying to find bouquets for the bridesmaids and me. It's a slight nightmare as I've got a champagne wedding dress. The theme is navy/ivory colours so not sure what to do about flowers.
I was thinking of giving them cream roses or something but their dresses are Navy blue with white polka dots so it'd look terrible. Any suggestions?
