Im unsure when to start making/send out the save the date/wedding invites.

We are getting married in Paphos, cyprus in September next year unsure of exact date as of yet but it will be that month. I know its 19months away but the sooner I know whos coming and who isnt the better so I can make arrangements with the wedding planner.

Do you think It would be stupid to send them out within the next month or two??

When would you/did you send yours?

    Sarah xx

    Planning to perfection

Because you're getting married abroad, I'd get the save the dates out as soon as you know the exact date. We got married in Gretna last August - but sent the save the dates out about 16 months before. It gave guests enough notice to book accommodation, time off work and transport if needed, especially as it was the peak season. We then sent out our invites about 4 months before the wedding with an RSVP date of 3 months before, so we could finalise numbers and menus with the venue when we visited.

Get the save the dates as soon as you definitely set the date, as abroad people need to make sure they can afford it, and save up and book the time off work,so next month or two is not too early for STD
