My Fiance and I are just in the process of getting our Save the Date cards done and we came across a little hurdle.
Do you address the Save the date cards to your guest personally on the card or does their name being on the envelope suffice? Also if they are going to be able to bring a guest do you indicate this on the save the date or save this for the invitation?
I'm sure this will be the first of many questions.
Thanks for your help!! L x

Thank you Mrs Hall2b!
My Fiance is inviting a couple of his friends and not their partners, I hate not inviting them, but he says he's never met them or they have only been dating a while, so I was thinking that maybe we should specify who we are inviting on the card to avoid letting people down later on?
Sooo complicated!!
And do you send save the dates to evening only guests?
I am sending them to both only because there is so many for the reception coming from ireland and they need to book flights and stuff
Cant wait to to marry Martyn
Wishes the wedding would come faster

My save the dates are fridge magnets (in my pics). I addressed the envelope to who I was inviting, however if it was "and guest" I left that for now, that cn be tackled on the actual invite

Im putting the names on the envelope, but making sure that everyone who is invited is on the envelope and those who arnt invited arnt on the envelope coz some peoples partners/kids arnt invited due to cost restrictions, but i am going against convention and asking people to r.s.v.p if they definatly cant save the date coz we have a back up list of guest, and if we know now who cant come then the wedding invites can include partners who were not on the save the date cards.

I am only putting names onthe envelopes so I can have generic save the date cards printed! I am only sending mine to family and close friends & members of the wedding party as there are people on the guest list now that I doubt very much i will still be in touch with by the start of next year when I do the invites. So unless you will definitely receive an invite, u won't receive a save the date lol! x
