I'm having an engagement party at the end of the month and had an idea of putting a poster up in the form of a save the date instead of doing individual cards - has anyone done this before/know where you could buy them etc?xx

Try vistaprint or your local supermarket, they do all sorts theses day. Or you could make your own?

If you've got fb u can just create event on there and invite everyone and tell them to pass the word on!

Good thing about magnetic fridge save the date cards is that you cannot ever forget about it, other things like facebook or a poster at a party, you can.

I think the poster is a great idea, will make fab decoration too. I would have STD cards as well though- saying that, we've had loads made up and have only given out a few. lol

I could get a canvas and make my own I guess...! I thought it might be cheaper to do a poster rather than individual cards. We weren't planning to announce the actual date anyway so I thought it would be a nice touch/surprise for those who come and also maybe go well as a decoration! I'll have a look at vista print now!
