Well our deadline is set for this sat.,the 14th June, and I actually thought we'd have loads to chase. I'm impressed that there's only 3 couples that need to let us know. If any of these decline, would it be better upgrading a couple of friends,or two of my cousins (who are brothers) with their partners? Help would be great .

I've not voted yet as I don't know how close to your cousins you are.

Who would you rather have there, friends or cousins?

Donna I was thinking the same, if your cousins are quiet distant and you don't see them often I would go with your friends

See I've put them on par with each other, for the same reason being that if we had room, the friends and cousins would be there regardless, we did go to see my cousins twins last week though and take presents as they were born a few weeks ago
    This is them:

If your friends don't have children maybe invite them, as your cousins may struggle if they have babies to get sitters for the whole day, rather then just the evening. They also might not want to leave them for the whole day, whereas will be happy for a night to relax a little more?

Aww they are absolutely gorgeous :)

I can see your dilema, you can't also just invite 1 cousin and not the other so will need 2 couples to decline to be able to have the cousins but like Donna said they may not want to spend the whole day away from them. I think if just 1 couple decline it's got to be the friends.

Not much help now am i lol

Ooh they're adorable. I'm feeling broody now. It really does depend on who you feel closer to. Definitely you'd need to invite both cousins or neither, so it would only be an issue if two couples decline. Are the friends equal, or can you invite one without inviting another? Are you committed to paying for these couples, or could you actually decide not to move anyone up and just have less, rather than choosing one person over another?

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

My rsvp deadline is 19th July, and i'm waiting for 4 rsvp cards to be returned from 45 invites!! really pleased xx As for anyone who hasn't rsvp'd by then, i don't think i'll be "upgrading" anyone from the evening because i'd find it too difficult to decide!

Depends on how close you are to either your cousins or your friends.

We had a similar dilemma last week when 3 weeks to go (after RSVP'ing months ago) a couple dropped out as it was 'her Nan's 80th birthday'!!!!! Like she didn't know??? Anyway dilemma- friends or cousins who are travelling miles just for the evening party? The trouble with cousins is that there are so many of them (his side) that none of them or aunties and uncles are coming to the day so we would have offended. SO asked a couple of friends and luckily they've said yes :)

My cousins aren't distant or travelling, they are local...not sure where that's come from as I haven't put it, but anyway...thinking it may be 2 friends couples we upgrade as seen on fb this evening that one of my cousins + gf have split so will probs just leave them evening only x
