I'm a bit confused, I noticed someone had said on here that they were sending their RSVP cards out separately from their invites nearer the time, but I was on the understanding that you just send it all with the invites. I have sent off the text on my personalized invites to be created with a little line to say ''please RSVP by 9th Feb 2013 with RSVP card included" Bit worried that's not what your supposed to do now..HELP!

I always thought you would send a RSVP card with the invite, otherwise people may getting a little confused how to RSVP. I sent my invites out with the RSVP Card & Wedding site details to RSVP x

Yes, thats what I thought Lula! lol I was worried I'd sent my invites off to be printed to find that I shouldnt put the RSVP card in with it.... I suppose it may remind people about the wedding if you sent them a few months later...but alot of people want to RSVP pretty much straight away anyway xx

exactly, and in all honesty the old school way is sending your invites 3/4months max before anyway so itll still be fresh in their minds! and if you look at pocketfold/wallet/cheque style theres always a slot for the RSVP bit to be torn off the back! Just go with it, do what you want! if it makes sense to you (which is how most do it anyway) then go for it! xx

Mine are going to be in the invites when I get around to finishing them.

Generally they would go in the invite hun. Maybe the person was sending it out well in advance and therefore was sending the rsvps as a reminder

with the invite :)

its always sent with the invite, I thought

I think it should go with the invite. Although i'm not actually sending cards - i'm just putting a little line on the bottom of the invite I think but putting phone and email rather than mail. Trying to keep the budget down so rsvp cards were one of the first things to go! lol. x

We are sending ours out with the invites, but I supose closer to the time if some people haven't RSVPd then you could send out a few seprate ones to those people...

We sent ours out together - and had a space on the rsvp for the guests' menu choice so we could organise everything with the venue in good time as well.

Ahhh yes, we had a bit for them to say any dietary requirements such as vegetarian etc as we were having a cold meat buffet. Worked out well until after we found out that one had not put anything down and was a vegetarian and we had already sorted out the food for the wedding. Only found out about 2 weeks before. Fortunately there was vegetarian stuff like quiches and salads at the buffet.
