Hi everyone! H2b and I are thinking of having our wedding and reception at Rowton Castle in Shropshire. It looks beautiful and just what we are wanting, but I wondered if anyone has been there or if anyone is having their wedding there. Jackie x

Hi i have been to Rowton Castle to view it for my wedding. I have completely fell in love with the place and we are hopefully going to get married there. The people are lovely and the place is magical and really relaxed. The rooms are gorgeous and so is the bridal suite. Jack the main man is brill and nothing is too much to ask. So i definately suggest you go and view it, you wont be disappointed. Hope this helps

Hi Jackie yeah they are quite flexible with the catering from what i can remember. We haven't got a huge budget either but cuz you get all the bedrooms in with the package you charge your guests what you want and then they knock it of your final bill, so your saving yourself at least a grand.
Thanks for that Mary, I'll send them an email and see what they say. What H2b and I were thinking is getting married at around 4ish, followed by photographs and drinks etc and then having a huge hog roast for all the wedding guests aswell as those that come to the evening reception. J x
