So I'm having a maid of honor, cheif bridesmaid, and then my bridesmaids. My h2b is having a best man, but also want one of his mates to be a role that is above being groomsmen but below bestman. So a bit like a cheif bridesmaid.
Is there such a role? I know it's just a title, but he wants one of his mates to feel special.

I'm sure maid of honour and chief bridesmaid are the exact same thing. Just different name. You could always make a role up and have a chief groomsman

yep i would go with chief groomsman too. basically the same as best man but without the top name tag

My hubby's best man was his brother, however he later asked his dad to be a best man as well. His brother always remained the main best man and did all the best man duties, made the speech etc but it was nice for his dad to feel like he was more "involved" at the same time. He didn't differentiate between their titles, they just knew what their different roles were without having to formalise it x
Why dosnt he have them both as best man? I have have been to weddings where they have had 2 best men. They have shared duties and done the speech together, It may be worth a thought? Xx
