i went to an open evening at my venue and at same time was a sash/chair cover company there! there prices was 3.50 eah and said this is cheapest around LIARS i work at hospital and have the 'intranet' where people that work for nhs can advertise! a wedding extras company have them at £1.80 each!! ( also seen them for 2.50 each loads fo plaes since) so even if i cancel the expensive ones and dont get my deposit of 100 back i save like £30 ish and know that the company aint rippin me off!! grrrrrrrrrrrrr so i email said rip off company and ask for refund sayin i am cancellin weddin due to finacial and other probs lol naughty me lol wat do u lot think

i doubt they will give you a refund of deposit as legally i dont think they have to. but just goes to prove that you should always shop around and never take the first offer xx

i've cancelled my chair covers all together as i originally booked them for all day and night for 100 seats and she said no 45 seats for 2 hrs for £350 do the math noooooooooo way!!! cancelled!! xx
I wouldn't tell them that I would kick off and say that you were told when you signed up that they were the cheapest and its obviously false advertising as you have now found them cheaper. I would then demand that they give you the same service for the price of the cheapest quote you have had back or demand your deposit back as they are legally not allowed to make such allegations that are not true.

if they wont give you a refund then tell then you have been quoted less tell them what the lower amount is and what company and tell them you want it for the same price as lower company and dont take no for an answer.

i remember hearing in the last week or so on the radio or tele that compnaies are not allowed to say that they are the cheapest unless they actually are now. a new law that has come in. tell them all about it and say you will report them if they dont give you a refund or do it for the lower quote you got! xx

tell them if you cancelled all together and still lost your deposit you would save money, but that they would get a bad review however if they take the offer to price match you will give them a good review and they would get your business

My venue was similar they were looking for £300 or so pounds to cover the 60 chairs.The only difference is they never said they were the cheapest and luckily i had already looked around and found another place for £150 including delivery and set up (thats half price)

this other company have quoted me £200 for 80 chair covers n sashes, top table swag and half a sweet table ( they ar ein proper glass pots wiv bags etc and the letter love candy or sumting on tabel x)
