Depends on the age of the child really? If you think he is old enough not to loose them then attach them to the cushion and get him to walk down with them and give to the best man at the end. If hes only little tho what about giving him the cushion without the rings on or some "dummy" rings you could even attach two harribo rings to it instead and tell him if he does a really good job and behaves during the service he can eat them afterwards lol

We're having my second cousin as ring bearer, and he cannot wait!
What we are doing is my best man will take care of the rings until we get to the venue. Our ring bearer will carry them on the cushion and he will stand on the end of the desk, and the registrar will take the rings as she requires them. I think doing it that way really gives the whole ceremony a sense of regality about it:-)
I agree that if he is only six, dummy rings may be the way to go. Ask him first though

My son who is 11 is our ring bearer - we have a Ring Frog!! Strange but really nice... The frog will be sat on the Table by the register and he will be asked to come foward and collect it to give it to the best man and help him to remove the rings.... just to include him in the ceromey xx

Hello!
You can buy rose ring boxes which look like a rose and look less odd when being carried!
Good luck Carli

Roberta - do you have toi have a ring cushion.......................no of course you dont have to! Most only have them if they have a paigeboy but theres nothing wrong of just giving them to your best man to look after if you dont want one. As for alternatives you can have pretty much anything you want if your rings attach to it somehow
