But it's not a conveyer belt - each bod can only do a couple a day. And the revenue has to cover the whole business.

I have the same argument about solicitors' and accountants' fees :) Their charge out rates are anywhere from £100-£250 an hour, but it's not pure profit, there's a lot of stuff that the punter never sees.

How about we agree to disagree?!

    Apparently....

A Kentish Wedding ceremony in an Approved Premise enables a bride and groom to choose their own marriage ceremony. This is achieved by couples either writing their own ceremony or making selections from our choices booklet for each part of their ceremony.

Many couples write their own ceremony to include words, promises and vows personal and exclusive to themselves. Our Ceremonies Teams are happy to discuss and offer advice about the ceremony content, which must be non-religious and include legally required vows and declarations of marriage.

It is important that the marriage ceremony chosen by the bride and groom is appropriate to them, their experiences and beliefs and their family and guests. The involvement of families and guests in A Kentish Wedding gives a personal warmth and quality to the ceremony for all that are present.

    Poetry and Music

Family and friends often take part in the ceremony. They can read poetry or prose and give a message of celebration on behalf of the happy couple. Click here to see some suggestions from our 'Simply Perfect' Ceremony Pack.

Everyone can enjoy the couple's choice of music, which may be contemporary or traditional. These can add a magical and mystical quality to the wedding ceremony. String quartets, live groups, jazz and soloists also provide a distinctive and memorable addition for all the guests to appreciate.

Your registry office wedding is costing more than my church wedding with choir and bells, that's just crazy.
Glad your getting what you want, happy planning x
