    Evening All,

Me and m H2B are getting married on November 10th 2013 which is Remembrance Sunday. My late granddad served in the Army and both my parents in the RAF so I am very keen to include a poppy somewhere in the flowers, but I am unsure how to incorporate this into my theme with out it being the overriding theme of my flowers.

Our theme is black, white and sparkle and I definitely do not want paper poppy's -any ideas appreciated.

    Many Thanks
    Laura

I think just a few scattered in the bouquet would look lovely.

Maybe you could use them as confetti?

    Or real poppies as buttonholes?

Given the time of year, I suspect most guests will be wearing the 'paper' poppies xx

With black, white and sparkle a dash of poppy red will fit perfectly. You could get sparkle poppies - blinged up - a couple in your bouquet ? a single poppy in your table centerpieces? or how about some kind of special poppy favours for your guests? Or paper ones as favours with a note saying you made a donation for each guest?

What about silk poppies? You could have some lovely bouquets and button holes made.

That's a great idea, I have just found a lady who is making me silk ones for the gents button hole's and incorporating silver and black crystals into it , they are lovely - thank you that's one more thing ticked off the list :) xx
