    Hi there,
I know I can't have hymns/songs mentioning God in a civil ceremony, but what is the protocol when the song is in Welsh?
We're getting married in Northumberland but h2b grew up in Wales so we have recently been getting into the Welsh folk music.
    Any ideas?

I'm not sure tbh although we want Calon Lan. We are getting married in Somerset but my family is Welsh so at least some people will be singing!

It's lush isnt it - such a lovely song! And we love it even more cos we sing it at the rugby (rugby is how we met :o) )

    Hehe! They wouldn't!
I don't speak any Welsh but I have the chorus down really well!
Our other song is 'tree hugger' from the Juno soundtrack - that's so not appropriate!
