well situation is we booked the wedding on the 28th of jan and were told that we had exactly 2months to give notice of marriage or theyd cancel the booking..............
had to keep rearranging our notice appointment due 2 h2bs work and are now booked in for wed which is 2 days after our time period, contacted registry office 2 let them no and they confirmed all was find and they will still keep our date... ........
had a call today from photographer to say he called reg office 2 confirm photo set up, space etc and theyve released the date and rebook some1 else!!!!!!!1 arrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
everythings booked what the hell am i going to do!!!!

Is there another registry office nearby who could accomodate you? We have about 6 near us to choose from in neighbouring towns so maybe there is another option for you to consider? :(

ok so against my more sensible judgement weve called the other bride.............. she's been brill.....
she originally wanted a slightly later date but her venue wanted £100 more for a june date..... so now she's changing to the 11june so we can have 28th may back and were paying the £100 difference for her which i think is a small price to pay to keep our plans on track!!!
she only lives 4 streets away from me so she's popping round in the morning to sort it all!!!! phew!!!!!!!!!

she was actually really understanding with me...............however not very happy with reg office 4 leavin her details on view....i know im lucky if id of recieved that call id telling em 2 go whistle!!!!!

Its really bad though the blatant disregard for privacy the the R/O and how they didn't give a crap any of the circumstances regarding the notice! They said it would be OK for you to delay it 2 days they had no right to cancel on you!

Just in case it doesnt work out with the other bride changing her date, another option you could consider would be to marry at a different Register Office? You dont have to marry at the one in the district where you live xx
