Hi everyone, our theme colour for our wedding in 2014 is red and I want our wedding to be unique so when people walk in they think WOW!! but i've got some sort of block as to how I could do this. We are getting married in a church then having a sit down meal at a fancy hotel and obviously the reception later.
Any ideas pleeeaase?

i have a red colour scheme but ours is just a simple wedding really. church then reception, no sit down meal. were have red and white chair covers, red and white balloons, red favour bags, red bridesmaid dress. red cravat for the men, red and white invites and red roses in my bouquet. ive kinda tied in a sweetheart/romance theme with hearts. red is h2b favourite colour and i wanted a red and white rose bouquet as its the flowers i put on my grandparents grave who i was very close to. so it was an easy decision for us

yay for more red weddings! I am having red too, its my fav colour. I have red shoes and white dress and my bms will be in red. Having white roses for the bms and red for me. Decorations will be red roses too. Having red in my cake too x

red roses are always good to go with also as Kel Bel said 12 different gem stones that are red you can use as table names or even as your center pieces put a red rose with a red gem stone that could be your little center piece or logo as I like to call it it can be on your wedding stationary as well =D <3 X

Ahhh that's quite sweet Kimi, its lovely how you've got it all sorted, silly question but whats a cravat? Has anyone got any ideas for wedding favours? that's the one confusing me majourly. I'll look up the red gemstones now, thanks kel xx

im having chocloate and vanilla sponge as i hate fruit cake. best man has a key ring which h2b gave him last night, then were just getting a little something like cufflinks or hip flasks engaved probs off ebay with bm, usher, flowergirl and moh on

We are having red and white but a bright red and against the white it looks lovely. I have bright red bridesmaid dresses, red and white roses with greenery for flowers and then or decorations are big cream candalabras with simple red roses round the base.... Red is a sticking colour so don't need too much of it but the colour of passion and romance so very nice for a wedding xxx

Well, I am planning on a dark red, black and white wedding. I found so many nice pictures online. My wedding dress will have red in it as I don't like plain white wedding dresses. For my bridesmaids I am looking at red and black dresses and the tables will have white table cloths with red and black scatered rose petals.

We have a red themed wedding, our bridesmaid dresses where pretty striking and the men had red cravats etc, we had red roses with ivory roses xx

Also having a red theme, although more burgundy than brighter red, but agree you could do red roses, or red balloons even. For favours, the bay of e have some red organza bags at a decent price and you could put sweets in them or something like that xxx

I'm also having a red theme with a candelabra on each table on a mirror base. Placed around the candelabra will be heart shaped t-light holders and red scatter crystals.
I agree about the red and white roses, that sounds like it'd work really well.
