Hi all, just about to finally order my Chinese bridal outfit for the family dinner, does anyone have any ideas on where I can get a wired red flower comb for my hair? I've tried googling red hair accessories and not a lot is coming up - I'd rather it was flowers rather than feathers - or failing that I'll just get a big red flower pin/slide from a high street accessories shop :-)

The outfit I've chosen is this one, and I think I'd like my hair to be a similar style too so hence the flower comb :-)

Try Claire's or Accosorise on the highstreet... they should have loads of options xx

You could always make your own.
    Required
    a hair comb
glue gun. (The glue guns are relatively cheap these days and you can make many amazing things with them.)
    silk Flowers
ribbons, glitter and crystal if you like.

Take the comb and glue the heads of the flowers onto the ridge of the comb, snug them in tightly and watch your fingers as the glue is hot.

Once they are only you can add sparkly crystals or glitter to suit.
This is so cheap it means you can make several to tuck around the bun in your hair or matching ones for bridesmaids.

Omg, back in Feb I emailed a cousin who lives in Singapore, and asked if she could check Chinatown for anything suitable, and sent her a link to a webpage for something as an example. She said she would look, then I've not heard from her in a couple of weeks but didn't want to nag - got a delivery today, and she's bought me the one I sent as an example!! Amazing!
