Heyaa PLease can anyone help give me some idea of a good place to have a wedding reception in december in London for about 5 grand a place that can accomodate 100+ people??Im having such a horrible time with the reception venue :-( i find great places but dont seem to have enuff money to feed everyone because of the "per head" prices..Need some idea asap..me and the fiance are students and planning a wedding with soo many assignments to do is just ahhh!!lol thanx in advance!!

have you look at the local hotels. the holiday inns do packages that start at 1k and then you just add to it. xx

Where about are you planning it in London? we find our venue in the venue list in the Wandsworth (SW18) council wedding brochure. We had only 45 guests and we did it in a restaurant named Le Gothiaque and it costed us £30.00 per person for 2 courses and the drinks (2 welcome sparkling drink and half a botle of wine0 and £300 for the cake. Before choosing them we have asked few quotation from other venue (hotels and pubs) from the council list.
