Well we were going to have our wedding ceremony at the church and then travel to the hall for a buffet sit down meal and then evening do. But that has changed now and instead of having a buffet we are having a 3 course meal at the resteraunt that was doing our buffet to start of with because it is cheaper for us to do it this way. but now i am stuck for ideas of things to have in out evening reception now.. i want something specail and that will wow people but my mind ha gone blank.. i really cant think of anything, can you lovely ladies please please please help me xx

What do you mean by special? Entertainment, decorations? What kind of wow factor are you looking for?

i want to decorate my hall with bunting (having summer wedding) and have a big banner but need to check that i can do this. Also we thought it might be a good idea to put fairy lights underneath the top table's table cover so the guests will have something sparkly to look at but don't know where you would get these. It was in a backdrop at a fashion show at a wedding fayre and we thought it would be something different.xx

did you think about the net lights you use on a xmas tree?? not static the twinkly ones then you could have a chiffon type cloth over them (sorry for spelling lol) big bow on each side of table and a swag from one bow to the other :0)

The fashion show had that - the lights underneath a piece of chiffon and i thought it looked really pretty. Would try and do that if not then i was just on ebay there and they have organza decs that you can do up the front of your top table so might look into that.
